Multitest´s European Supplier Day: Partnership based on Clear Expectations
Multitest recently held its European Supplier Day at its corporate headquarters in Rosenheim, Germany. Multitest suppliers represent a significant portion of the total value of Multitest products and therefore it is important to maintain close supplier relationships, monitor their performance and provide feedback for improvement.
The participants received an update on the Multitest business, including product strategy and market forecast. Multitest reviewed the supplier performance in terms of quality and on time delivery and clearly stated the expectations. A new set of measure for 2015 to improve material lead time was introduced to the vendors.
Additionally, Multitest management highlighted the opportunities resulting from the new corporate structure of Xcerra Corporation. Other Xcerra businesses use similar technologies as Multitest which offers new opportunities for synergies and leveraging know-how.
